Osman Tekçe’s Honesty
Şanlıurfa’s Suruç district shop owner Osman Tekçe found a bag filled with jewelry and money and made sure to return it to its rightful owner. While on his way home, Tekçe came across the bag on the side of the road and decided to keep it safe until the owner claimed it.
After placing an ad in Suruç Gazette, the bag caught the attention of Şanlıurfa’s 3rd Notary Mehmet Şahin, who had accidentally left it in a field. Thanks to Tekçe’s integrity, Şahin was able to retrieve his belongings without any items missing.
Expressing his gratitude, Şahin stated, “After seeing the lost and found ad in Suruç Gazette, we contacted Osman Tekçe. We received our bag and jewelry intact. We had lost hope but thanks to Osman Tekçe, we found it again.”
