Namet Ateş Appointed as Altınordu’s New Head Coach
Altınordu, TFF 2. Lig Beyaz Grup team, has announced the appointment of Namet Ateş as the new head coach, following Ersan Parlatan’s departure. Ateş, who has played a significant role in the development of many young talents in the club’s academy, has been promoted to the position of the first team’s head coach.
A statement from the club highlighted Ateş’s contributions to the youth development and his previous roles in Altınordu’s Football Academy as an athletic performance director and youth development technical manager between 2018-2022. He most recently led the youth setup at Manisa Football Club before joining Altınordu.
During a meeting at the Torbalı Metin Oktay Campus with the club President Seyit Mehmet Özkan, Ateş and his team discussed strategies to ensure the success of the first team. Ateş will be supported by assistant coach Serhat Galimane and goalkeeper coach Ercüment Kurt in his new role.
