Galatasaray, the champion of the Trendyol Super League in the 36th week by defeating Kayserispor 3-0, declared its 25th championship with 2 weeks left in the season. While celebrations were held nationwide after Galatasaray’s championship, Eskişehirspor fans poured into the streets in Eskişehir.
Preventing Galatasaray fans from celebrating, Eskişehirspor fans roamed the city center with their jerseys and scarves, chanting “Cimbom pabucu yarım, çık dışarıya oynayalım” slogans. Police took various security measures to prevent any disturbances as the fans walked in large groups.
