Participating in the Yurtlig Folk Dance Championship held in Adıyaman with the presence of 12 teams from 12 provinces, the Hakkari KYK Afife Girl’s Dormitory Folk Dance Team achieved great success by becoming the champion of Turkey.
The championship, organized to increase interest in folk dances, preserve cultural values, and support young people in this field, received great attention. In the competition, where fierce competition took place, the Hakkari team received full marks from the jury and the audience with their traditional motifs and harmonious stage performance.
This success, which brought great pride to Hakkari, was joyfully welcomed by both the athletes and the officials representing the city.
