Opening of TÜBİTAK 4006 Science Fair in Kula
Kula Bekir Sacide Filiz Keleşoğlu Science and Art Center organized the TÜBİTAK 4006 Science Fair in Kula district of Manisa with a ceremony. The opening of the fair, where projects prepared meticulously by students and teachers were exhibited, was carried out by Kula District Governor Ömer Ahmet Özdemir and protocol members.
Student Projects at the Fair
The ceremony, which started with the opening speech of the Science and Art Center Director Suphi Aksoy, saw students under the guidance of project coordinator Sengül Çınar Cevahir exhibiting their projects with their advisory teachers. Students explained the development processes and methods used in their projects to the participants, providing them with the opportunity to put their scientific curiosity into practice.
Kaymakam Özdemir’s Appreciation
Kaymakam Özdemir, who examined the projects exhibited at the fair one by one and received detailed information about the studies from the students, emphasized the significant role of TÜBİTAK-supported science fairs in developing students’ imagination and enhancing their scientific thinking skills. He stated that such projects are one of the most effective ways to make students love science and technology, and assured that similar activities in all educational institutions, especially Kula BİLSEM, will continue to be supported.
Özdemir expressed his gratitude to the students, teachers, administrators, and parents who contributed to the fair, stating that the youngsters advancing in the light of science are the guarantee of the future.
