Graduation Ceremony at BAIBU Vocational School in Mudurnu
Bolu’s Mudurnu district witnessed the 26th graduation ceremony of Mudurnu Süreyya Astarcı Vocational School, a part of Abant İzzet Baysal University, with great enthusiasm. The ceremony, hosted by Instructor and School Vice Principal Kadir Torun, was attended by students from six departments.
The ceremony began with a moment of silence and the national anthem. School valedictorian Ebrar Gazibatmaz expressed gratitude to the teachers and academic-administrative staff who had supported her throughout her 2 years of education.
Süreyya Astarcı, the philanthropic entrepreneur who undertook the construction of the school, expressed his happiness with the steps the students were taking to contribute to the nation and society. He promised to continue supporting their education in the future.
At the end of the ceremony, students followed the tradition of throwing their caps in the air. The festive moments continued as students danced in circles to traditional tunes.
